In this talk we introduce an algorithm that creates a coarser (unrefined) parameterization from the given regular parameterization. The coarser parameterization is regular as well and approximates the initial one with a given presicion values globally and locally. Local projectors and local optimization techniques are used to ensure the approximation and regularity.
